Let Go. Reset. Let Nature Carry Your Burdens.

In every phase, the moon reminds us that release is a sacred part of renewal. The darkness of the night sky is not a void—it is a womb. A space where we can surrender, be held, and begin again. This ritual is an offering for those who feel heavy, restless, or simply in need of a spiritual exhale.

We don’t always need to fix or understand. Sometimes, we just need to let go.
And what better teacher than the moon herself?

Why This Ritual Matters

This is not just a bath or breathwork—it is a return to your own rhythm.

In many ancestral traditions, moonlight rituals were moments of communion: with Earth, with self, with the Divine. The bowl of water becomes the Earth’s womb, reflecting back the stories we’re ready to release. The candle becomes a guide through the inner night, and the leaf or flower carries our intention home—into the soil, into rebirth.

🌿 What You’ll Need

  • A bowl of water (to represent the Earth’s womb)

  • A white candle (for clarity, truth, and protection)

  • A leaf or flower (to carry your emotional burden with grace)

  • A piece of paper + pen (optional but helpful to name what you’re letting go)

🌙 The Ritual Steps

  1. Create Sacred Space
Sit somewhere where you can see the moon—or simply feel her presence through a window or your own heart space. Light the white candle and place the bowl of water in front of you.

  2. Speak or Write What You Wish to Release
Breathe slowly. Feel into what you’re ready to surrender: sadness, a memory, fear, tension, resentment, doubt.
Write it down or whisper it softly:
    “This I no longer carry…”

  3. Place the Leaf or Flower into the Water
As you lay it down, let it be your symbol of release. You are no longer holding this alone. The Earth holds you.

  4. Whisper This Prayer:
“Like the moon, I shed what is no longer mine. The Earth receives me. I begin again.”
Let the words move through you like breath.

  5. Let the Candle Burn
Watch the flame for a few moments. Let it speak to you. Feel yourself lightening.

  6. Bury the Leaf or Flower Later in Soil
In your garden, a forest, or a pot of earth—place the leaf in the ground. Say thank you. This is how we close the loop of healing: giving back what we’ve outgrown.

🌼 Affirmation

“I flow with the Earth. I trust the light in my letting go.”

Say it aloud. Say it often. Let it echo through your spirit in the days that follow.
